GP Medical Receptionist/Administrator
Negotiable / CardiffApply
Full Time, 37.5 hours per week
Ideally full time (37.5 hours) but we will consider applicants wishing to work part time hours.
Taff Riverside GP practice, based in the heart of Riverside Cardiff, is a forward-looking surgery, seeking an experienced receptionist/administrator to join a small, hardworking, committed and fun loving team to support our patients.
Working full time, the successful candidate will ideally have experience working in a GP practice; can work well as part of a team or individually under their own initiative. As one of our front of house team, you must be willing to adhere to our principles of treating every patient fairly, with compassion and understanding, ensuring the strictest confidentiality at all times.
This position is varied, rewarding and challenging. It will suit a person who is well organised and able to cope in a demanding and often pressured patient facing role.
Experience within a GP surgery would be an advantage but as full training will be provided, where necessary, the willingness to learn new skills is essential.
We are willing to discuss the actual working hours/days but you must be able and willing to work until the surgery closes at 6.30pm on a number of pre-agreed days each week. Our core hours are 8.00am to 6.30pm. We will consider flexible working subject to the above minimum practice requirements.
